Hello everyone, and welcome to the 10 th Muro for *Membership contest! Here you have the chance to win one of three one month premium memberships by making a Muro drawing either in the journal comments or by linking one that's based off of two or more provided themes each month. What makes this contest unique? That no matter what your skill level is as an artist, as long as you meet the minimum requirements of each months contest, you are eligible to randomly win a premium membership. After the end of each contest's submission period, each qualifying deviant will receive a number starting at one and go up as high as it needs to, and after each person gets a number they are entered into a random number generator and the middle and last numbers that represent the people will win a one month premium membership.

New Summer Contest!!Hey everyone!

So =Elfyah and I have decided to host another contest for the summer! The theme is Water. Could be the beach, lakes, waterfalls, dew drops, puddles, etc. Anything as long as water is the subject (and of course, following the group's regular rules)!

DevMeet in Salt Lake City, Utah: July 10th, 2004

Utah's first ever DevMeet will take place at the Utah Arts Alliance in Salt Lake City on Saturday, July 10th, 2004 at 7 PM.

The Utah Arts Alliance is located at 2191 South 300 West in Salt Lake City.  To get there take the 2100 South freeway exit from I-15, turn East to 300 West, then turn South on 300 West and 2191 South is on the East side of the street.

The DevMeet will take place from 7 PM to 8PM during which we will be projecting a slideshow of art from the Dark Domain DVD, a collection of ANSI/ASCII and still image art.  Come on down to meet and socialize with fellow deviants!

From 8 PM to 10 PM we will be projecting real-time works from the demoscene and discussing Pilgrimage, Utah's annual demoparty.  deviantART.com is an official sponsor of the graphics competition at Pilgrimage 2004.

Admission is free.
